It could be said that we’ve been pretty taken by Strata since it arrived at Polly’s HQ. As everyone’s favourite new hype hop, we approached it with a little bit of hesitancy at first, but from the moment we opened the first bag here at the brewery we understood why every brewery in the country is clamouring for this incredible varietal. Having utilised it as an accompanying hop alongside other varietals recently, we decided “Why the hell not?” and commissioned a full-on, single hop beer to see what this new darling of the brewing world could do on its own. Knocking it out of the park in one of the most underrated arms of the brewery; our DDH Pale Ales, this beer absolutely bursts with intense passionfruit notes, backed up with that distinctive dank weed aroma for good measure.
