We’re going back to basics on this one. A hark back to those bushy tailed and starry eyed beers we produced back in those halcyon Loka Polly days when the sole objective for our beers was one thing – creating and trapping pure sunshine in a glass. Nano Waves takes this concept and runs with it; on the slightly higher end of the IPA strength spectrum, amplified up to the max, and positively bursting with fresh citrus notes from a trio of citrus-forward US hop titans in Amarillo, Citra and El Dorado. All starting on the hot side with Amarillo added both during the boil and at whirlpool, we’ve implemented one of our infamous pyramid dry hop additions to round this beer off perfectly; Citra taking the lead, El Dorado close behind, before a final flourish of Amarillo to create a merriment of fresh squeezed California orange, Um-Bongo levels of mango juiciness, and grapefruit for balance.
